Where freedom rings
And bullets bring
An end to life

Where there are those who care
And those who dare to live on edge
Where buildings fall and people call

I live in a new America
Where bickering prevails
Where politics and heretics
Are one and the same

I live in a new America
Where love still exists
And there are those who help
Although they must watch their step

I live in a new America
Where there are good folks and bad
Across the entire land
I love this America

This is a poem I wrote after a mass school shooting and
also following the Death of the Great Pastor Billy Graham
It shows the contrasts of the different types of people who
live within the USA.
