Happy 18^th Writing.com!

How do you thank a couple for such a great site?
And we get to do what most of us love, that’s Write!
Perhaps, since it’s something we love, we can find a way,
Probably, no I’m sure, we can find words that say,
Yes, let’s do it, get er’ done today!

1 is the loneliest number, so I’ve heard,
8 years I’ve been here, a little more than a third,
the time that WDC has existed,
here on the Web where everything is listed.

Beginning to wonder about this crowd,
It's a lot of fun, more than should be allowed.
Remembering how they groaned at my jokes,
They're good, but bad, the emotions they evoke.
Have to share them, know what I mean?
Don't want to be one who causes a scene.
Anyway, it's all good, in so many ways,
Yeah, we're celebrating the site’s 18th Birthday!
