A lone wolf howls in the night

His mournful song

Lamenting from the belfry

His voice hallowed by the wind pipe

Is he truly wolf?

Or is he simply wolfer?

A lover of wolf

Whiter than the moon

Stronger than the mountain

Yet mortal as most

He plays a song

For a fallen hero

Long gone are the days

Present are the lonely nights

Winter has died

Spring in its wake

The lone wolf howls

Lamenting the death

Celebrating the life

The hallowed voice in the belfry

Is it the wind pipe?

Or is it wolfer?
