You are the one for me
and yet
it cannot be

Sparks flew the night we met
from that moment on I knew
that I had chosen you
just as surely
as you had chosen me

We click
We align
We connect
We love

God
Do I love you
it’s never enough
and yet it is everything

Look where we are
Look how we love

Look how you show me, time and again
what love can look like
how love can feel

And yet
I know there’s more

Where sparks fly
Where my Beloved gazes into my eyes
and whispers
and yet, my love
and yet
We have only just begun
