I Will

What can you become if you are alone?

With or without you, I will be.
But I will never be complete when you have taken a part of me.

With or without you, I will be strong.
But never again strong enough to reach for a star.


With or without you, I will be free.
But this freedom is worthless if I can't share it with you.

With or without you, I will be successful.
But I will never have the ultimate proof of a real winner: Your heart.

With or without you, I will achieve my dream,
an I'll see that is a poor imitation of what could've been.

With or without you, I will reach the end.
And when i look back to what I did and see that you were not there because i was afraid, be sure my tears won't be enough to wash away the ache my heart will forever be.
