So many crossroads in life, where will the next turn take us?

Lonely Crossroads

Here I sit at my lonely crossroads
wondering where this turn will take me?
Only God knows where I'll end up.
I have taken many painful turns;
but am thankful for all I've been through.
All the heart-ache and happiness,
the glory and agony.
Sometimes they hurt, but all have shaped my life,
to make me who I am today.
So many people have graced my life
who are full of wisdom and love.
It was their love that guided me,
to be the best person I can possibly be.
I'm thankful for my hopes, my dreams
and the forgiveness that God grants me.
Many crossroads I must face head on
which will take me to different turns.
In each corner they'll be challenges,
over each bump in the road I will grow
until all my lessons are learned.
Then, I'll leave my Earthly existence
and face the most famous crossroads of all.
