Wherever My Imagination Takes Me

I glide on my pencil
Across the paper
Filling the emptiness
With kittens purring
And dragons flying

Unicorns dance
‘Mid showering flowers
lovers stroll ‘neath
ancient bowers

Maidens may even be
Stranded in towers

Happiness, sadness,
Rage and hate
Fill the page
Like an empty plate,

Plates full of biscuits,
And pots of tea,
And other delights for
You and me

On my magic carpet
I will ride to whenever
And wherever
My imagination can fly.
