I am a hobby writer who puts words on paper mostly my own amusement, mainly because when the mood strikes I can lose myself researching the heck out of the background material I throw in. An evening spent rabbit holing on Wikipedia to me is far more entertaining than watching re-runs of whatever happens to appeal to 90% of the cable company's viewer base. To me, poetry is in the way everything makes sense within the rules of whatever universe the story is based in. I also like aircraft, with a particular fondness for biplanes. I am married and have two wonderful adult children whom I apparently did a wonderful job of raising. Sadly, no cats.
