Hi I'm Kayr, from Scotland. An amateur writer and poet with no formal writing education. I have always enjoyed writing, short stories and poems. Mainly humorous verses for occasions such as weddings, retirements, work colleagues etc. They have always went down well but I have never contemplated publishing any work nor had any critical reviews. In the last few years I have enjoyed writing more structured meaningful pieces and recently entered the UK's National Poetry Competition, which will have the short listed winners published soon. I would really value the opinion of other writers on my work, with a view to improving my writing style.
