I have wanted to write since second grade. I have always known what my passion was. I knew the second we made our little paper books about our family. I told my mom that night, "I want to write books." And she celebrated it. I love to write. Making up your own characters, coming up with a story line, all of it. That isn't the reason I write, though. I love reading, a lot. I want to share that passion I feel when I get a book. I want more kids to get the jitters and curl up in the corner reading, like I did. I want them to smell the pages and get excited about just the thought of the book. That's why I write.
