I taught writing (academic and business) at the University of Houston Clear Lake. BA Columbia University, MA:Literature, MA:Humanities at University of Houston. Line editor for three published novels and consulting editor on third edition of history textbook. Have published some short fiction and won some prizes at writer's conferences. First Place Short Story in Texas Intercollegiate Press Association for Literary Magazine. Also won second and third places in the Tony Hillerman National Short Mystery competition some years ago. Recently completed the Iowa U. Writer's Course for Fiction Writers.
