Summary of this Book...
Not unlike the the Christmas classic The Autobiography of Santa Claus, this soon-to-be classic is also set in the format of twenty-four chapters, one for every night before Christmas. "As told to Jeff Guinn", this wonderful tale tells of the early life of Layla, now known as Mrs. Claus, as she grows from giving child to a young woman determined to make the lives around her better thru her gift giving. After meeting and then marrying Santa, she strives to help not only him, but his growing band of friends as they bring joy to children thru their gift giving as well. The main focus becomes apparent when Santa comes to the New World and Layla stays behind to save Christmas for the families in England. With the Puritans taking a stronghold there, the joy and merriment of the season was becoming more and more difficult under their straight-laced demeanor. Historically accurate, and beautifully written; How Mrs. Claus Saved Christmas will soon become a Christmas classic.
