Hey y'all π once again another episode of as the stomach turns π! There aren't too many places to go out here ( that's one of the reasons we are again thinking of moving to Virginia - another story for another time!). Today we were planning to go to Pascagoula just over the bridge. Twice a month St Vinny's ( St Vincent de Paul, Catholic services) opens it's house for people to buy all kinds of things, from clothes to housewares, stuff for kids, picture frames for very cheap. We were looking for kitchen knives for 50 cents each ( instead of crappy new ones for 12 bucks etc.!) Anyway they have pet and holiday stuff. Last time we went found a bunch of neat stuff we picked in two shopping ποΈ bags for less than 20 bucks! Hard to find deals like that! I even found a Beatles picture frame for 50 cents βΊοΈπΆ. I set my alarm for 6 AM and by 7:20 we were out the door πͺ. Until we got some gas and saw how big and bright the sun was and it was serious. We thought it was going to be overcast and instead the sun was larger than usual. It was more like in the middle of July instead of November. My sister knew as I did that driving into it and going over the bridge, would be too dangerous for her, because she wouldn't be able to see the lines on the road so in that moment we both knew we had to go home instead. We were pissed off and it was a big disappointment. Yeah it really sucked. So we went home and I looked at the map of Roanoke that I just ordered and tried to change the focus. We talked about having to figure out what we're going to do with Maxy and MoJo for the 10 days we will have to go check out the area, housing and stuff. It would be too much to take them with us. When they go out in the car to get their nails cut, they cry most of the way. They go every couple of months or so. It's 20 bucks for both. Jennifer at Posh pet's is awesome to them and it's super cheap, compared with other places π. I trim the tips in between and we don't always have the money to do.t I also found a way to use less kitty litter and keep the box cleaner! I will share my secrets with you in tomorrow's post π―! I'm pretty darn tired been up since 6 and it's 7:30 PM. I cleaned the whole kitty box and made my bed and other stuff! I cleaned my toilet last night but didn't get the sink or floors. Tomorrow will wash the kitties room floor! They have the dining room as we don't have a table for it. We have TV tables that we pull out ( one holds a lamp!) We used to have everything but had to start from scratch 2 years ago. We had 2 beach chairs and got 2 air mattresses to move in. Found 2 nice chairs by the trash and a nice guy helped us get them home! Unfortunately they both had fleas and it was a bitch getting rid of em ! Life goes on! I made a go fund me, when we couldn't find a way to buy a couch and get it home. I raised enough to buy us 2 beds from Amazon β€οΈπ. We paid off a nice couch ( it took a year with all the interest they charged) It looks nice in here! We live well and clean for not having much money. Anyway tomorrow I'm featuring helping animals ( my definitely most passion) along with the litter box hacks π. It's been fun chatting with you and checking in on my peeps there on the WDC community wall feed. There's so much love here and thanks for being a part of my connection here. Sweet dreams y'all ππ€ love one another! See ya tomorrow πΈπ€©πππ€πΉπͺ» |
