Hahaha! Gobblety Gook! My aces were not flying as high as they should, so I radioed the flight commander and requested an ice cream and Oreo sundae. When it arrived the squadron did also. That's when the puppies hit the flagstaff! I made sure every one of those pilots knew that I'd had enough ice cream to fill a bloated midget, and that's a lot of ice cream! Now on to more important matters. I've just finished combing the lawn and I need a shower! |
You may argue the point, but in my book nothing is more in keeping with the American dream than mowing the lawn, trimming the hedges, and burning refuse. Of course, if you ignore the american dream for too many years then catching up can be a bitch. Factor into that old age, diabetes, and congestive heart failure and life become quite a challenge. I just love pity, self or otherwise. |
Please forgive me, Lord, if you find these words unworthy, To humbly project my thoughts on Your great plan, Without the gift of knowledge, one can be suspicious, While reading the writing of a sinful man. When my weak vision fails to see Your treasures given, sadly, my soul shrivels like fallen spruce cones, When quarantined by the enemy on every side, fear may petrify my flesh, tremble my bones. If words of the wicked find their way into my heart, You've warned me the road to perdition is broad, When You provide a firm foundation of solid rock, I'm tasked to build a church for the one true God. Because it's a furious fire that charcoals the flesh, And returns the bones to the bedrock once more, Only then will I feel the real power of God's love, And know His Holy Spirit's perfect restore. |
When I was young, The elixir of life, Had a different taste every hour. Sometimes I'd own the world, Other times I had no power. My friends couldn't see, Because they'd be, Drowning in their own, Life like a shower. In my middle years, My cup of life, Lacked any flavor, Time slowly lost invisibility, |
Her swirls of milk chocolate locks, Flow with symphonic undulation, To tenderize cold calloused depths, Seduce all unwilful thoughts, And savor the touch of twilight. |
What was masked in shadow, Now thrives in daylight. Tentacles reach out six feet. Infectious clouds of poison, Oblige us to observe ourselves. |
Do now, without doubt, be done, Indulge upon unleavened bread, Don't postpone 'til the dough rises, The cost is loss due to lethargy, Never comes the errorless run. |
