Notes by Celtic Fire, in chronological orderNotes by Celtic Fire
In the next few weeks I am going to use segments of some of the songs that are like the sound track of my life and use them to construct stories some in various lengths . May not even call them short stories but a snap shot a moment real or imagined .
If you had a sound track that inspired your writing what would it be ?
From summer anthems , cheesy pop songs, jazz , blues . What rocks your world
Music stirs something inside us and feeds the soul . Like all creative outlets written , drawn or sung . The sharing of expression
I look forward to reading other peoples thoughts on this and why those songs have stuck with them . Even the ear worms lol

His sister had anudder one, she paid it for de lime
She put de lime in de coconut, she drank 'em bot' up
She put de lime in de coconut, she drank 'em bot' up
She put de lime in de coconut, she drank 'em bot' up
She put de lime in de coconut,

( seamed to be the drinking song for the gang on the tv show Bones )
This song was in Practical Magic.

I use music as an inspiration for a lot of writing. Have even sold a few to anthologies. Music is a great way to spark the writing creativity, I find.

And yet, my favourite song ever has not inspired a story out of me. Maybe it's because the song means so much to me...
