To make it easier for us to look at the new poetry you're referring to would be to link to item you're asking for input on. To do this, you've got two options. If you type in {item:#######} with the item number in place of #, the post will show a simple link with the item's title; for more visibility, use {bitem:#######}. For example: {item:2285369} = "Harrassed" {bitem:2285369} =
There are also other means to find people to review your work, including groups and individuals who do reviews for free or for a price (GPs). Beyond posting on the Newsfeed, I'd suggest you check out WdC's official forum for review requests of all types:

When I read writings from years ago I wonder how I wrote an item and didn't realize how bad it is, but then I see it from a more experienced writers POV.
we need to crawl before we walk. Practice meaning write, write, write will help us to improve our skills. Ideas are great and when we get them they are not lost.
