I didn't even know what a notebook was until I just now opened this up...and there you were. It's nice to be remembered in spite of my long absence. I certainly remember you.

In the beginning, my wife lived overseas so I had a lot of time on my hands and wrote a lot. 12 years ago, she finally moved over here and my writing time took a nose-dive. I keep thinking I'll pick it back up but who knows for sure. Maybe when I retire in a couple of years.

My wife took up writing and said after a few weeks, "It's weird how I don't know what is going to happen until I write it down." My response, "Welcome to the club!"

Cheers for now and hope it's not too long before I find another bottle washed up on my shore.
