Wow, this is an amazing story. I love how the story works up to an event, and then it gets pulled away, (when he takes a call), and you think that the obvious might not happen. I really enjoyed this piece. I am a big fan of the happy ending but you didn't leave me hanging wondering what was going to happen. I love that you closed it with them actually getting together. I also like the little bit of humor involved. It was realistic, very well written and the perfect length. There may be one or two little errors in grammar/editing, but I would give this story a ten if I could!
Great story with the perfect amount of momentum! I love well written short stories where you get the whole plot without too much info that isn't needed. Great job, I really enjoyed this piece!
