I really like this piece. I've written some tanka and know the discipline it takes to write it The imagery is great in conveying a coherent scene.

A great piece. It does a great job evoking the common experience of most folk when they find a place that satisfies their needs with positive feelings. My wife and my first place was three small rooms and bath in the upstairs of a modest home but for us it then it was great.
The structure as well as content works as well.

Wonderful piece. The feeling of being overwhelmed by worrying about too many things at the same time really struck an emotional chord for me. I've medical issues and I feel I need to get my affairs in order, have cats who are over ten years old whose health concerns me, and run a household.
