GENERAL COMMENT:
I agree that we are all creatures in our environment. In physical geography terms, we our species. Anyway, I like this poll because it makes me to think of the better weather for me to write. Of course, to me I think I prefer to write when the weather is normal. Meaning, the sky is blue, and sunshine not so bright with the birds singing around the air. What can you call that kind of weather? LOL. This is a great poll for me which I like it very much. Write on!

GENERAL COMMENT:
This is a great quiz that is best for all members of Writing.Com. I thought the idea of creating this quiz is awesome. Though I go through the scoreboard and found that there are so many members, including the Storymistress, have taken this quiz. The sad news is that so many past members, those who left the site have there footprints at your quiz page. By the way, I highly recommend this quiz to members of WDC to take a look at it and maybe to fill in their answers to see how it goes. GENERAL COMMENT:
This is an interesting poem that, to me, tells a story of a war. This poem reminds me of Brave heart when I came to read the man sharping his sword. Now, I feel I want to watch Brave heart, the movie, once more. Though I like how you wrote this poem with nice rhyming scheme. It makes your poem flow reads well from the beginning to the end. In considering grammar errors, I can tell you that I didn't see any. I might be wrong or blind in this area since I'm not an editor. All I can tell you here is that the images in your cNote shop were so great. I admired them because all awesome! My most favorite are the first, third, ninth and last image. OVERVIEW:
I read this free verse poetry several times and found that the message it holds are so strong and can be a food of knowledge, especially to the non believers who were trying to ignore the name Jesus. You know, this message here reminds me to go back and read the bible to explore more of the Savior's never-ending love. I like the piece very much, Bob!

FLOW:
In reading this, I found that it flow reads well from the beginning to the end. I might be wrong, but this is me.

FAVORITE LINE(S):
To let you know, I liked every lines here, but the lines in the stanzas that show what Jesus does when He was here would be my most favorite. They really remind me of Him with things He does that nobody can.

GRAMMAR AND SPELLING:
As you know, English is my secondary language, so I might be blind in pointing out errors on this field--I mean grammar. Though this part seems perfect to me.

SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENT:
I have no suggestion for you since your poem is good. The only thing I need to tell you is that you better keep that piece at your port for the others to read it. Who knows if yours could be helpful to those who seek Him for the new start. Just my humble thought.

OVERALL IMPRESSION:
A very well penned poetry that could change the life of the non believer. I did enjoy reading this poem from the beginning to the end, and I thank you for sharing your kind spiritual words with us, Bob. Lastly, but not least, I would like to say good luck to you with your Salvation Army members. Good luck, my friend!

I'm here to review this image or you. Of course, this image looks great to me. I think the designer of it is a pro in designing pictures in my opinion, and I tell that just by seeing this inspiring picture. I like it so much and thought it was so different than other pictures. The most I liked here is the encouraging message that read "Review This! Earn gift points for reviewing. The message reminds and encourages to me to review on to earn gift point. A nice picture that reminds members to review on for gift point. Great encouragement.

GENERAL COMMENT:
This contest is the best in my opinion. I haven't seen one like this before. Of course, your contest is no match here on WDC in my opinion. The banner is very inspiring, and I think it really fits the theme of your contest Paradise Cove Writing Challenge. The colors, fonts and emotions you used throughout your page were all great. They show that you are a pro in using those WritingML. Anyway, I admire the cool divider you used.

Your contest rules are very clear and easy to read, by your contestants, from the beginning to the end. There are no grammatical errors too. You did a good job in setting up this contest.

Andrew the quill awards event is one of the biggest worthy causes on WDC. I can see lot of efforts you put in organizing this event to make it a fun one. Sherri, this is a nice caring poem dedicated to your mom. I think I hear your voice clearly here because you used powerful words. I know that your mom is so special to you since she is your closest friend and caretaker. Now, that she's not around, you always have a place for her in your heart because you had an everlasting love for her. I tell that just after reading this poem dedicated to her. Thought I like all the stanzas because they show your love and care for her. I, too, love my mom and thought I owe her so much for all that she does. Honoring the mothers is a good thing because that time the whole world will do nothing on that day but just honoring the mothers for all that they do for the family. GENERAL COMMENT:
This forum looks great to me with creative and inspiring banners, clear fonts, colors and emotions. You did a good job in creating this forum page for us. Though the information are easy to read and easier to follow. I like the way you rewards your reviewers with a bunch of gift points and other surprises like MB, Awardicon, Personalize Sig and many more that I believe they could put a smile on the face of your reviewers. Undoubtedly, your generous rewards encourage your members to review on and on because they know that your offer for their effort in reviewing others is waiting ahead of them in which they can own them if they could complete the weekly reviews before the deadline. On the other hand, their reviewing skills could be better by the fact that Simply Positive Forum challenges them to review 6 pieces from any members weekly. This is a great challenge, and I like it; that's why I try to review for SP with an intention that my participation for the group will help improve my reviewing skills in the future. , and I'm here to review one of your works with an intention that my review will comfort and encourage you to enjoy your stay at WDC.

Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" !

I read your poem several times, trying to figure out the idea you're trying to share with your audience here, but I can tell that the message this piece holds is a bit clear to me. I think I agree with you that life can be painful, sometimes. That is how life meant to be. You did a good job in expressing your belief here. This is a good start for a newbie like you. However, you might consider adding some poetic devices to the content of your piece so that it could be memorable to your readers. As I know, there are more than 10 poetic devices expert poet familiar with and mostly used them, but my favorite is a metaphor. A metaphor is a figure of speech in which an expression is used to refer to something that it does not literally denote in order to suggest a similarity. Here are some metaphors related to life: Life is a game, a dream, a journey or even a mystery. These are just few examples, but you can create your own that could match your imagination. This is a great poem that comes out from your inner heart. Of course, if you believe in Him you will free from fear because His words and overflowing love is most powerful than fear and every danger things exist. I think I believe your thoughts in this piece. Also, I like the way you share your experience and your believe with your audience here. This piece is one of the great foods of knowledge to me.

Below are the lines that took much of my attention:

There was a time, and not a distant one
when I trembled before the rash, the rude
the uncouth and the overbearing.
I did my best to shun them.

The above lines really show that you are a believer whose part is trying to avoid things that will let him/her down. Gret thought.

This is a good poem with a nice topic that could take the attention of the reader, especially Christians.The topic is interesting and the content is well written.

FLOW:
I did enjoy reading this piece because it flow reads very well, but the most I liked is the rhyme parts which I enjoy it very much because I'm a rap fan. You're good in playing with words.

FAVORITE LINE(S):
I liked all part of your stanzas, but the last stanza is my best:

Only God knows what he wants me to be
and I need no preacher to translate for me.
I know in my heart, I know in my soul
and that's all I can do; to work towards His goal.

I think those who really believe in God will trust the above thought. He is the only one who does know everything about us and things around us.
