I like the imagination, its vivid and colorful and full of references to fairy stories and folklore. I appreciate the imagination especially he the flying pig part up to the pot of Gold. I am no expert author myself but i saw something original you can use to make the story yours, what if the protagonist is a thief who deludes himself that all this happened while in fact he actually stole.

Very very nice. It transports you to a world past and yet makes it romantic and adventurous. The mist, docks smell of fish reminds me of the books i read when i was young, mostly from British authors of yore.
Continue writing, i want to read more.

I really liked it. I bet this is you and you are trying to come out of hiding your true talent. Its inspirational and a lovely piece just like the scarecrow's music. It joyfully tackles the undercurrents of fear that runs through our lives, what if we tried to be our true selves? what would be people think? would they laugh at us or applaud our efforts? will they like how we look? tall? short? gangling? a scarecrow? we do not know until we try.
