Is this a mean, vindictive person who is trying to assert her power? If this was an
accident then yes by all means I would still think highly of the person and think they
are beautiful.

Carolina a quet girl meets a new male co-worker, Colton, and is starting to fall for him.
This is a short piece to what would make a great book. This is a light easy read.
This is well written. The only improvement that could be made in my opinion is that you could continue on with the story.

This was enjoyable.

I found this on the review me list.
I am finding that this requires some historical knowledge to read. I am
not very knowledgeble about the subject and would not change anything
based on my opinion because I am not that great of a reader or writer....
I did not understand the word: mon
A report, mon general’
I saw on pbs a show about how the military formations have changed over time in history.
I am left wondering the meaning of this sentence:
"When they arrive, we’ll have to form square or die." Is he telling them that they need to surround them in a square formation, or form a square and walk towards with guns pointed?

‘’ We’re somewhere near the border sir! ‘’ Choinburnt replied. He was one of the last surviving scout of the regiment and Gulliemont had no choice but to depend on him for directions. It had been well known that he was a good director and on many occasions had led regiments back to the army, only the Russian Campaign proved disastrous for him, so far not a single regiment had surivied because of him. This was his last regiment to lead back before he would be posted to Toulouse, where the English were attacking.

I like the direction of the story how the guide has a history of leading everyone to death and they are suppose to trust him.
This is well written and I do not see anything that needs to be changed (in my uneducated opinion)

I think that the "Vanity publishers" are individual people that sign up for membership and advertise their services.
I do not think that it is Writing.com's intention to advertise them over other publishing options.
It is my understanding that smashwords and other e-pub do not advertise.

A man wanted to tell 2 women about a story from Vietnam and ends up turning into Satan.
It does seem at times that people are only out to take advantage of others (especially if one is always at the receiving end).
I like how the story turned into something I totally did not expect.

Sounds like a long distant relationship that could actually move forward. I did not catch if this was fiction or real. It sounds like it could be either way. I am interested in knowing more about. Is there another chapter?

I agree with you that we need to act for the better of us all instead of only looking out for our individual interests.
I think that Grover Norquist's "No Tax Pledge" in regards to raising the taxes on the filthy rich is a unhealthy greed that is undermining congress's ablility to reach budget compromises and hurts us all.
This was a well written piece.

I agree with you, she was severely punished in comparison to others. Martha I understand is a Democrat and I believe that is apart of the real story. I had not heard of the Save Martha movement until now. I sure do like her and like this piece you have written.

This is a good story to remind ourselves to look for clues to prevent from falling back into bad habits.
That could have turned out so very, very differently. I agree it must have been the guardian angel.

Have you submitted this to a publisher or any magazines? You Should. Looking at your portfolio, you unlike myself are a real writer.

Good definition of the word strategy. I love how you go into the history of the word:

Why did this word from the ancient time refer to an office?! Well, the word did not refer to just any office; it referred to the general office, the office of the person in command, to the person who had choices to consider and decisions to make. For Example: While the different type of soldiers under the general command where trained on multiple skills, each had a profession from the swordsmen to archers to cavalry yet they only responded to few simple commands, charge, fire, halt, retreat, this also applied to both opposing parties. However, it’s the use of those commands to diverse battalions at different times for various reasons that decided the outcome of the battle, and each battle decided the outcome of the war.

You made this a deeply interesting piece with your style of writing.

This piece was about how your mother has influenced the way you raise your own children.

I enjoyed the story, but This is the funniest line: It is no wonder that I followed in my mothers footsteps and determined her secret as to how one may raise precocious children without becoming a blithering idiot.

I feel for all the parents who are raising children who do not have parents to guide them. You are one of the lucky ones.

Thank heavens he did not have the grill lighter in the bag on the stove or they might have thought it was arson.
Thank you, for reminding me about that some stoves do that. I need to check the stove I am about to install, as I am always piling towels and stuff on the stove.

IT is a nice feeling to feel like you fit in and are apart of the group, to having worked hard to accomplish a college education. Memories like these are the the ones we look back on in our golden years to be happy.
I like how you describe being insecure and how the teacher recognized you.

IT is unfortunate that teachers do not have as much time these days to have the one to one attention with kids that drive kids to succeed as your college professor.

This is interesting. I am curious as to what time period you are refering to as Ancient Nigeria. Do you mean before outside religous introduction of Islam and Christianity?
I think that it was just considered as part of a persons sexuality with more attention being placed on wether you were fulfilling your commitment to society by carrying your work load.

The decision to change his life was the last thing he did before jumping infront of a bullet to save a handicapped person. I did not understand at the end there if they both died or just him.

The flowers were a intersting part of the story it made it seem like it was his predetermined destiny to die that day.

My favorite part of the story was this"

My deathbed has been waiting for me since the day I was born, out there fixed in time and space. My random meanderings through life have served to change none of this. Every step and misstep, that I have taken faithfully brought me closer to that inevitable end.

I found the beginning of this chapter really intriguing. I have not read a story like that one before. That is a neat concept a patient whose presence heals others and whose family is paid to keep them around to heal others.

Because the family left and felt so guilty I am wondering how much they were paid and if they have left over money or if they blew it all on themselves.
I did not see anything that I would change, although I did not understand this: "My entities were in the other room"
I am guessing that it will be explained later on in the story.

This is a good description of stress and the worry of economy and jobs.
Reading this I do not get a sense of what angers you about the job. Is it
really the boss?, or anger over the stress and fear of cutbacks?

This is good! I hope things work out and you are able to just take the time to enjoy the moment now and then.


This has good flow, it makes sense, I can feel the emotions and frustration.

This was a beautiful story with great meaning. I loved:

I’ve always believed that many of life’s lessons are learned from God’s simplest creatures. We can all take a lesson from Chase and realize that our whole lives are a journey which leads to a series of chases. Maybe not through fields and forests, but a journey nevertheless. A journey through life. All of us are always chasing things. Some we catch, and some we don’t. What’s important is the realization that the secret to true happiness is not to get caught up in our chases. We must learn to enjoy the moment. To understand and appreciate life as a gift. Tomorrow will come soon enough. Live for today, not for what lies around the next bend.

While all of your writing is good, I found this paragraph, actually inspirational.

The secret to happiness is living in the moment.

Easier to lie, was a great little story about not feeling comfortable in marriage and feeling not really failure, more vunerable at letting thier families know thier feelings.

This is well written and without error.
I was not sure why part of it was italicized.

I think that this would be great either way. I sure would enjoy seeing this as a play....

What did he tell you?

That is a cliff hanger!

Your story was great! It kept my interst throughout. I was a little disappointed to not find out why he took you the two kids from the school outing and what he was about to tell about and get them involved in.

I did notice one teeny error : I was always the one she bouth root beer for at the supermarket.

This sentence does not make sense: the only thing she said was were going to get you and rocked the doll quietly
I believe you are trying to say: the only thing she said was: "we are going to get you" and rocked the doll quietly.

She screamed and said I will get my doll you all will die
She screamed and said: "I will get my doll and you will all die!"

She plugged up the blender
she plugged in the blender

This is a well written and well told story.
