My first poem I've ever written. |
| Upon the Top of Tupper Mound Upon the top of tupper mound, Lying here upon soft ground, My lungs welcome the hill's fresh air, Lying on moist grass without a care, Upon the top of Tupper Mound The dear sun's rising - a sight profound, Like a guiding lantern upon the ground, Oppressing the darkness' thick black haze, Upon the Top of Tupper Mound And extending from wooden pillars are limbs laiden with green, Only through peace could their true beauty be seen, Shielding onlookers from smog and snare Peace and beauty are quite a pair, Upon the Top of Tupper Mound C.T.
