The Window

The sun shines on the leaves
Of the tree I see outside
To see a sight like this for free
Fills me full of pride

The clouds move so freely
Painting white across the sky
Birds darting to and fro
How I wish that I could fly

It's easy not to notice
This beauty that I see
The view from through my window
That's only seen by me

So the next time you walk by
A window big or small
Take some time and have a look
And appreciate it all.
