Hand me down toys,
clothes from the
What-Not Shop,
and work,
are how I remember
boyhood.

Hand me down dreams,
wishing, wanting,
craving
the things
other kids had
are how I remember
school.

Hand me down lover,
heart-breaker,
unfaithful,
keeping
half truths
hidden
are how I remember
you.
