For someone very important. For Mary

You say you love me,
but we are only friends.
I seem to feel much more,
You think we can make amends?

My breathing starts to grow,
how much more can I take?
If you move any closer,
my heart will surely break.

I will have you convinced,
its like a battle uphill.
I wish I'd stop loving you,
but I don't think I will.
