A rhyming poem about all the rain this Spring. |
| I see the rain from my topmost step, The moisture from my home’s ground floor – Precipitation from my kitchen window, Wet weather from my soaked front door… Rain is slanting through the breeze, And puddles splashing on cement, Darkened clouds create a stir, And driving downpours, heaven sent! The rain all day shall peak and wither, The spring is here with frequent showers – Our region's wish for all this rain Is bringing forth the countless flowers. Forecasters view this state-of-the-art, The wintry deluge from up high; A likely fixture for much of today – With rains approaching, few stay dry. |
