How writing and WDC helps bring a calmness to my soul

Logging on to my second home
for eleven years at Writing.Com.
Sharing my story, writing my song
makes me stronger, helps me stay calm.

A master of my own making,
my mistress is my muse
words sparkle like candles,
writing becomes my booze.

Poetry flows from a busy mind,
one that gets no rest
the wheels are always turning,
my words must be expressed.

Writing is my lifesaver,
journaling through the night
writing down my inner-thoughts
helps me in my plight.
