Joining the Fun

Though I'm running late, I'll still have fun and join in on the festivities

I took a little stroll today
to join my good friends.
A place of fun and merriment
just around the bends.

I followed the red arrows
and entered through the back
feigning courage as I went
zig-zagging through the pack.

I found a spot and settled in
and watched the cases spar,
'twas all in good fun, of course
and truly quite bizarre.

Laughter echoed throughout the room,
dance music loudly blared,
fun was being had by all
and stories widely shared
of fantasy worlds far and wide
and ladies who bat their lashes,
who smiled and grinned, as men walked in
twirling their well-trimmed 'staches.
