a young ballerina's muse in a field of flowers |
| "Dancing Before the Queen" She danced carefree with the honeybees on a stage carpeted with purple and blue-green clover back-dropped by tall stands of golden sunflowers. Her flowing skirt twirled like gossamer wings in the wind, as little bare feet flitted among varied flowers in a field. The tiny tot's gauzy attire became decorated; polka-dotted with ladybugs and glittered with pollen. Grasshoppers soon joined the petite performer in a sassy song and dizzy dance. A sprite's spirit remained her muse, as the budding ballerina blossomed into womanhood. On a wide wooden planked stage back-dropped by blue and white smoky curtains, she danced carefree before the Queen. line count 14 Inspired by my granddaughter, Brooklyn Fondaw |
