Keep Pushing Through

Poem about going through something.

It happened so long ago in the past
And everyone got over it so fast
I never stopped hurting
While your curious eyes are still lurking
It was nothing new, so I let it go
Praying that it will be different tomorrow
Turns out I was wrong
And nothing seems to have gone
I feel so alone
No where seems to be like home
Everything is falling apart
Leaving wounds on my heart
I thought I was happier
But it ended up being a fake barrier
Keep going they tell me
And I just nod and agree
Telling myself you got this
And that you will be missed
And I know that everything will eventually be fine
Because God has left me many signs
