Gonna tell you about my lockdown blues.
Holidays banned that includes my cruise
That’s what I heard when I turned on the news.
Do what I’m told, not what I choose
Can’t go to church or sit in the pews.
Want to go shopping, but endless queues!

So many rules I get confused
Stay home, stay safe and we won’t lose
But penalties if we refused

Bought a new bike that I can’t use !
Little to do that will amuse
I paint rubbish pictures , daft colours and hues,
Fed up with cooking and making stews
But Covid is real coz it’s not a ruse
Is there no end to these Lockdown blues?
