Denying feelings usually does not work.

The rules of attraction
Should be written on the wall
And reinforce by a stout nun
With a yardstick
Who isn’t afraid
To use it.
Every day!

Exert day
I try to deny
My attraction to you
Knowing it will
Always end up with pain
And loneliness.
