The holidays are here, and memories start to play

emotions start to build so you lean on your strength
as you try not to break

joy is in the air, smiles and laughter too, but the sadness
in your heart refuses to hide from you

it's not hard to see what is so very hard to say
memories are ours to keep but the pain never goes away....

it's okay to feel for those no longer here, you are not alone
I have also shed many tears, and I know how hard it is
