I'm a 20 year old avid writer and new to writing.com; my favourite genres would include fantasy, horror and thrillers. I think writing allows you to capture the best parts of life and can play with a reader's emotions. Every story has an essence of reality in it however it's the fictional elements of a story that can make it all the more magical.
