I've written on and off since I was in my early teens. I wrote "doodles" if you will; just some lines that I thought up or a scene or two in a book. I've never finished anything of any length. I found writing.com by accident while searching the 'net for sites about creative writing. This looks like an excellent place to get inspired and put up some things that I have written.
