| Thursday August 1, 2024 5:00 pm  UPDATES: I got an A- in Quantitative Methods math. The second week of Quantitative Methods II is going well. My youngest grandson turned 12 and we had a wonderful party. While his parents took him out for his favorite cherry ice at Costco, I decorated for our little family party. Grandson’s huge big bash birthday party was last Sunday. He has 3 sisters who have to coordinate schedules and his brother is off on weekends. This time two of them had to take a day off from work to travel and be here. We were out at youngest granddaughter’s house in the desert. It takes about 4 minutes to drive there. It was 108 degrees outside but nice and chilly inside in the air conditioning. His sisters and brother are 15 to 22 years older than him so he has two additional brothers, the girls’ hubbies. The guys taught him to play pool in the basement game room. I invited a few more people to join WdC. I hope one joins in the correct order from my link so I get credit. Not for anything other than replacing the goose egg in my community stats. I have 5 here I invited but they did not sign up correctly to give me credit. None of them have written in months. I had a big squabble with my favorite sister. Today I took the high road and got her on Facetime and apologized. She accepted! Whew! She is going on her dream trip to Australia next month for 4 weeks. She has a friend whose parents live there and will stay with them for a few weeks then go on a couple of tours, one to the Outback. I am excited for her. |
