Take UP Your Cross Prompt: James 2:14-17 14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Does your life reflect your faith in Christ? Why or why not? Answer: I do believe that it does now. I make it a priority to read my Bible daily and pray daily. I have cleaned up my language and I am more careful about the things I watch and listen to. I am working at better anger control and remaining at peace. It is when I lose my temper that I have an issue controlling my language. I am not where I want to be, but I am not where I once was either. God is still working on me and so am I. Being a Christian isn't being perfect. It is being saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Observations: Verse 10- You should prefer to be around other Christians and love one another with kindness. Verse 11- Don't be lazy. Be passionate and zealous when you serve the Lord. Verse 12- Rejoice in hope. Be patient. Pray all the time. Pray about something immediately when it is brought to your attention. Verse 13- Be hospitable. Give to your brothers and sisters in Christ when you see they have need of something and you are able to help. Application: We need to be passionate in serving God and always ready at a moment's notice to fulfill the needs of others. We should pray immediately and not put it off until later. Seek peace and pursue it. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I worship you. Don't ever let me lose my passion to live for you. Help me to remain at peace with all men as much as humanly possible. Are they avenues into which we pour our fears, wishes, or fantasies? Or are they results we gather from reliable and unreliable facts? I think assumptions are based on information, true or false, gathered from individuals. They are conclusions made. We as humans make these quick judgements all the time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prompt: I was cruising the galaxy with Garfield and we found this planet: Twiga (117) Read this item:
