#20 - Late 1980's Sounds - The B-52's

Oh My God, weren't the B-52's a bunch of fun in 1989? I was still stationed at Seneca when they released "Love Shack" and I couldn't shake that song - and the video was just as fun.

"Your what?"
"Tin Roof --- Rusted."

Who can forget that? The B-52's reminded me that sometimes it's all right to just let go and have fun. And I did have some fun in New York. I saw the Bangles in concert, I went Kayaking with my platoon near Lake Ontario. I would travel an hour to Seneca Falls just for Buffalo Wings.

I certainly got out more and just discovered things. I would drive 3 hours to Williamsport, PA just to visit friends. The drive wasn't bad. It was mostly green and forested, and reminded me of Fred, Kate and the crew driving down to the Love Shack.

I thought I'd catch up with the B-52's and did a quick search. Did you know they have residency in Vegas and tour occasionally I just might have to break my Cadillac that sits about 20..

The B-52's let me know it's okay to just let go sometimes and see where you land.
