Valentine

He kept the love of man and wife
from being lost for the sake of war,
but he was forfeit of his life
when love was banned quite out the door.

"A man will fight as a human tank
when not tied down by love at home."
But Valentine eschewed such rank
denial of the God-writ Tome.

Now Valentine's so tragic death
has given rise to the Day of Love,
that when we breathe Earth's final breath,
we'd be embraced in the Land Above.

The greatest Love of all Mankind
is found in Jesus Christ, the Lord.
You have not lived, until you find
Salvation in His Written Word.
