The halting rhyme of watching hordes was witty after all. The kingdom filled with bluest fjords heard ocean's lasting call. Brave mariners through coldest north endured the icy wind. Great ancient king brought scepter forth to newest seamen send. Dear fjords dismissed, pearled homeland gone, slim hope in God's own hands. Dark monster storm confessed the dawn and bowed to His great plans. The follied quest to bring the cure returned in God's good speed. The kingdom, now, for years was sure, no headlines ill to read. The great king bequeathed his honored throne to the stalwart man of sail. "Wisdom you have always known. You'll guide us through any gale." by Jay O'Toole on February 18th, 2020 |
