The EP Johnson Quintet is a form designation based on the pattern established by Canadian Native American poet Emily Pauline Johnson in her poem Lost Lagoon. The structure consists of five lines with syllable counts of 8, 9, 9, 9, 8, and a rhyme scheme of abbba, accca, addda, etc., where the last word or two in lines 1 and 5 are repeated in those lines of subsequent stanzas, as demonstrated in the following links:
