The Trimeric form of poetry, devised by Charles A. Stone, has four stanzas. The first stanza has four lines, and the subsequent three stanzas have three lines each. The distinguishing feature of this form is that the first line of each of those three-line stanzas is a repeat of the corresponding line in the first stanza. Thus, the first line of the second stanza repeats the second line of the first stanza, the first line of the third stanza repeats the third line of the first stanza, and the first line of the fourth stanza repeats the fourth line of the first stanza, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
