Noticing Newbies

Hello Everyone!

My name is JAYE, I began this journey a week ago and I have been falling more in love with it each day with the responses I receive about my work.

Last march my brother passed away, we were two years apart. And two months after that, my grandpa passed, I was very close to both. So from that day forward, I struggled so much with myself. Bottling up the emotions, pain, being in the dark. Finding myself has been my biggest struggle because I just don't speak about it because we were raised to, well I guess talk about our emotions. But, finding this site, is helping me release some of that hurt.

I want to thank everyone who gets a chance to read some of my work. I am new to poetry, I've always loved it, but don't know the "rules". I write freely and do the best I can, and I think you will love to read my pain.

I welcome you all to my world of these mixed words and hope you can guide me to perfect it without losing the vision of how Im trying to paint my story.

Thank you for welcoming me into a new community thats healthy and much needed.
