sorry, God does not promote slavery. You will not find it anywhere in the bible. There may have been men of God who had slaves and promoted slavery, but it was always contrary to what God wanted. Remember, God, through Moses, saved the Israelites from slavery. Also, if you are wondering how a man of God could have promoted something anti-God, look at solomon. God specifically forbid the Kings of Israel to multiply wives, yet Solomon did that. He had like a thousand. You have to remember that a man of God is still a man. Although, this is never an excuse for sin.
