I don't know if I have this returnee I may have it mixed up Across The Horizon Across the horizon on a Cyprus sea Imagery pictures in my mind be Ships that sail on fluffy clouds As far as the naked eye can see Together we sat on this distant shore. Glistening lights on the water flow Dancing colours glinting from the suns glow Lapping sounds from the current below Send frothy waves to and fro Together we watched bather come and go. Bathers swim earnestly Children on the sand play All these scenes in front of me As I sit in a little café on the Bay. But God has called you home And I look at the horizon alone. |
