A place for discussion on poetry, reviews, contests, etc. |

I put myself in in the authors place if I am able. I read the poetry through, perhaps noting a mistake or two in my opinion but this will come later in my review with a second read, this time aloud as all poetry should be read. First I check the title and description then I read the poem again. Now I look for rhythm, rhyme and imagery. If I see these three things as good, I have found a poem that I feel I can review and give my overall opinion. Did I enjoy the poem? How many blue stars if it is not a review only in which the review is finished. ![]() ~~Image #2164593 Sharing Restricted~~ It isn't what you take with you, it's what you leave behind. |
