The San Hsien is a decastich (ten-line poem) contrived by Jessamine Fishback and named after a three-string Chinese lute. The structure consists of ten lines written in iambic dimeter (four syllables) with a rhyme scheme of ABbaccabBA, where the upper case letters represent repeated lines.
