The Canopus, whose name coincides with that of the 2nd brightest star in Earth‘s sky, though not visible to anyone living above latitude 37 degrees north of the northern hemisphere, is a seven line poem attributed to Clement Wood, author of The Complete Rhyming Dictionary and Poet’s Craft Book 1936. It is composed in iambic pentameter with a rhyme scheme of ababcbc, as demonstrated in the following link: https://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/canapus/ . Let the creativity flow from your soul!
