Country Morning By Lisa Noe I wait for the morning as the sun rises bright I see it shining oh so very bright I smell the honeysuckle out my back door While dancing to music on the kitchen floor. The music of birds singing chirp chirp chirp A cow saying moo while grazing in the dirt My horse baying, waiting for hay My husband working, he can’t stay Oh country morning I thank God for you I’ll work hard all day until I am through Down on the farm the noise is peace Sizzling bacon sizzles so hot, popping my niece She screams yeoh yeoh yeoh ow The cat meows meow meow meow But down on the farm the pig says oink oink The sheep says baa baa The dog spends the morning barking bark bark, While I spend the morning playing the harp. ![]() ![]() ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ |
